Key Responsibilities
Application Support & Debugging
- Act as first line of escalation for application incidents.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in .NET (C#) applications; implement code-level fixes where feasible.
- Work with development teams for complex escalations and provide detailed technical analysis.
Azure Environment Management
- Monitor and maintain application components on Azure (App Services, SQL Database, Storage, Redis, Key Vault).
- Troubleshoot connectivity, deployment, and performance issues.
- Support staging and production deployments with pre- and post-release validation.
Incident Handling & User Support
- Handle incoming tickets, track progress, and ensure resolution within defined SLAs.
- Document issues, fixes, and workarounds in knowledge base/runbooks.
- Provide clear communication to stakeholders on status and resolution.
Testing & Validation
- Perform smoke and regression testing during deployments.
- Validate integrations, API communication, and access controls.
- Support QA teams in defect verification and release readiness.
Monitoring & Maintenance
- Configure and monitor logs, alerts, and dashboards using Azure Monitor/App Insights.
- Perform regular health checks on core application services.
- Participate in performance tuning and proactive maintenance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in application or production support.
- Strong knowledge of .NET (C#) with ability to debug and fix code.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services (App Services, SQL, Storage, Redis, Key Vault).
- Proficiency in log analysis, SQL queries, and API troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with incident management/ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow).
- Understanding of SDLC, deployment workflows, and release processes.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred).
- Experience with containerized applications (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of authentication/SSO mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
Experience with monitoring/logging tools like App Insights, Log Analytics, or Splunk
