Job Title: IT Project Manager

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver technology projects within scope, timeline, and budget. The ideal candidate will manage cross-functional teams, ensure stakeholder alignment, mitigate risks, and drive successful project outcomes using structured project management methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end IT project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure).
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including development, QA, infrastructure, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Manage scope changes through structured change control processes.
  • Ensure adherence to project governance, compliance, and quality standards.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives) where applicable.
  • Track project performance using appropriate tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet).
  • Provide regular status reporting to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party deliverables (if applicable).
  • Ensure smooth transition to operations and post-implementation support.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience managing IT projects and overall 14+ years of experience
  • Proven experience delivering mid-to-large-scale technology initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
  • Experience in budgeting, resource planning, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, MS Project, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification.
  • Experience in digital transformation, cloud migration, or enterprise applications.
  • Experience working with distributed/global teams.
  • Exposure to vendor management and contract negotiation.
