Job Title: IT Project Manager
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver technology projects within scope, timeline, and budget. The ideal candidate will manage cross-functional teams, ensure stakeholder alignment, mitigate risks, and drive successful project outcomes using structured project management methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end IT project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure).
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including development, QA, infrastructure, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Manage scope changes through structured change control processes.
- Ensure adherence to project governance, compliance, and quality standards.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives) where applicable.
- Track project performance using appropriate tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet).
- Provide regular status reporting to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party deliverables (if applicable).
- Ensure smooth transition to operations and post-implementation support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience managing IT projects and overall 14+ years of experience
- Proven experience delivering mid-to-large-scale technology initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
- Experience in budgeting, resource planning, and risk management.
- Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, MS Project, etc.).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification.
- Experience in digital transformation, cloud migration, or enterprise applications.
- Experience working with distributed/global teams.
- Exposure to vendor management and contract negotiation.
