Tell us about your education and experience.
I am pursuing an Associate Degree in Marketing. The bulk of my recruiting experience has been with HGS and I have been in this role for over a year now. I consider myself the gate keeper as I am the first point of contact for most, if not all candidates. It’s a good feeling.
What are some must-have qualities you look for in candidates applying to HGS?
I look for candidates who have a desire to learn and exceed the expectations outlined. Also, being receptive to feedback and having a pleasant disposition are always good skills to have.
What is a question you never miss asking candidates?
I typically ask all my candidates what they think is excellent customer service and empathy. While these may be simple questions, some people fail to understand what it means to give or get excellent customer service, and also, not everyone can empathize to the extent that we expect from all our brand advocates.
What is your top tip for potential candidates?
Be honest, be professional and be yourself during your interview.
