In this series, our recruiters speak about all that it takes to be a part of Team HGS.
Tell us about your education and experience.
I have finished my graduation in industrial and organizational psychology. I joined HGS in 2012 as a sourcing associate. After six months, I joined the recruitment team as a talent acquisition specialist. During the first three years, I was handling our technical accounts. Now, I work with one of our biggest healthcare accounts.
What are some must-have qualities you look for in candidates applying to HGS?
In my candidates, I look for commitment, intent to work hard, leadership potential, and positive attitude. Many of our employees have long tenures during which they have grown in their careers. For leadership roles, we don’t hire from outside before looking within. So, when candidates come in with the potential, there are many ways we can develop them into future leaders. We also look for hard-working employees to ensure that superior results are delivered consistently.
What’s your pro-tip for candidates?
My pro tip for candidates would be to always believe in themselves because if they are not going to, nobody else would. Candidates should also be good at selling themselves to the interviewers. They should always highlight the best things about themselves.
What is a question you never miss asking?
I never miss asking questions that affirm that a candidate is qualified for the position they have applied for.
What about HGS do you share with your candidates?
HGS never fails to exceed the expectations of employees. You will know through many ways that this is an organization that cares about you.
