HGS: Tell us about your education and experience.
Nitasha: I have an MBA degree and a diploma in French. I’ve also explored a career in fashion designing and aviation. I’ve been with HGS for 13 years now. Over the years, I’ve engaged with training, operations and quality. Now, I’m aligned with talent acquisition. Few of the biggest takeaways during my time here would be to embrace change, and to never stop learning. With knowledge, one is more courageous and efficient.
HGS: What are some must-have qualities you look for in applicants?
Nitasha: The qualities on top of my list are confidence, capacity to accept of change and flexibility. We are a dynamic company and the nature of our work is also fast-paced. On the floor, being proactive is the best approach, so we look for candidates who are capable of that.
HGS: What would be your pro tip for applicants?
Nitasha: Be sure of what you want. Goal-setting is very important not only for one’s career but also in their personal life.

HGS: What is a question you never miss asking?
Nitasha: I never miss asking why they are pursuing the particular role they have applied for at HGS. The reasons why candidates apply for a job reveal a lot about whether they are good fit for the role or not.
HGS: What aspect of the HGS culture do you share with your candidates?
Nitasha: HGS is a dynamic and transparent work environment with enormous scope to learn, perform and grow. I always tell my candidates about how progression depends on an individual’s merit.
