Job Description:

The HRSS Specialist plays a vital role in supporting core HR operations by managing and responding to employee and internal partner inquiries through the AskHR inbox. This position is responsible for handling state-specific Verification of Employment (VOE) requests, processing and filing corrective actions, validating medical documentation for return-to-work clearance, and addressing rehire eligibility status inquiries from the recruiting team. The specialist will also work within the ticketing system in SagiLife (Workday) to process and manage employee requests efficiently. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key areas of responsibility:                                                                                                                                                                               ? Monitor and manage the AskHR Inbox, ensuring timely and professional responses to inquiries. 

? Process Verification of Employment (VOE) requests, including state-specific forms and requirements.

? File and upload corrective action forms and employee warnings into the appropriate employees records.

? Validate return-to-work doctor's slips for absences less than three days, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines.

? Respond to recruiting team inquiries regarding rehire eligibility, referencing internal records and prior employment history.

? Maintain accurate and organized digital employee files in accordance with company policies and data privacy standards.

? Escalate complex or high-risk cases to appropriate HR personnel as needed.

? Support ad-hoc HR projects and administrative tasks as assigned.

? Manage and resolve assigned tickets within the Sagillife (Workday) system, ensuring service levels are met.

Skills and Qualificiations:

? Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

? Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professinalism.

? Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (Workday experience a plus).

? Prior experience in HR operations or a shared services environment preferred.
