Meet Recruiter: Jaypee

In this series, our recruiters speak about all that it takes to be a part of Team HGS.

Tell us about your education and experience.

I have a BSBA degree with a major in Human Resources from PUP Manila. I have been involved with recruiting for customer service ever since I started working.

What are some must-have qualities you look for in candidates applying to HGS?

Candidates who know a bit about the role and account they are applying for, are the first to catch my eye. I see it as an indicator of how proactive they are.

What is your pro tip for potential candidates?

Go through the job description in detail and don’t miss anything out.

What is a question you never miss asking?

I make sure to ask my candidates about their most significant achievement outside of academics or job promotions. I think this lets us know a lot about the candidate.

What is something that you tell your candidates about HGS?

One thing that I’ve learned at HGS is that your work speaks louder than anything else that you do here. Just because of that recognition, this is a great place to work.
