Meet Recruiter Josh

In this series, our recruiters speak about all that it takes to be a part of Team HGS.

HGS: Tell us about your education and experience.
Josh: I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rizal Technological University. I discovered recruitment and sourcing through internships during college. HGS is my first company after graduation, and I’ve been with the sourcing team throughout my time here.

HGS: What are some must-have qualities you look for in candidates applying to HGS?
Josh: Since we predominantly hire for customer service representative roles, I look for excellent communication skills and their level of commitment. At HGS, we focus on career development for the long term.

HGS: What is a question you never miss asking?
Josh: I like to find out from my candidates what they aspire for in their careers. It helps us place them accordingly within the company.

HGS: What is your pro tip for potential candidates?
Josh: I always remind our applicants whenever I talk to them that attitude is the most important thing we’re looking for our potential candidates.

HGS: What do you tell your candidates about the culture at HGS?
Josh: What I find the most striking about HGS, is the culture of progression that is uniform. We mean it when we say that no one is left behind in our growth as an organization.
