Meet Trainer Nathan

In this series, our trainers share insights on how employees grow with HGS.

HGS: Tell us about your education and experience.

Nathan: I’m currently pursuing bachelors in pharmaceutical technology at the University of Technology. I have worked in healthcare accounts for two years in another BPM company prior to HGS.

HGS: What's an evergreen tip for your trainees?

Nathan: I always tell my trainees to align their work with their passion. Passion helps channel energies towards being the best at something. I think it helps my trainees in goal-setting and working towards them. Being the healthcare space, it is important for us as brand advocates to have strong recall of the processes and systems at all times. So as trainers, we make learning a continual activity, so that advocates keep up with all updates in the process.

HGS: What about HGS do you share with your trainees?

Nathan: HGS is a great place to work. I tell my trainees to always keep an open mind, and learn and absorb as much as they can. The organisation recognises the right attitude and work ethic, and rewards employees with promotions. Additionally, HGS is one of the only workplaces where engagement with employees is a priority.

At HGS, we encourage employees to be passionate about their work.

HGS: How do you make learning easy for New Hires?

Nathan: I incorporate a lot of games and activities where there is interaction and discussion. It gives them the context of various situations they will have to handle on the floor, and they learn while having fun.

HGS: What are you known for among your trainees?

Nathan: I’m known for being a motivation speaker and encouraging trainees to be the best in their role throughout training and on the production floor.

At HGS, we believe learning can never stop, and our way of life reinforces this value. Join us to work in an enriching environment.
