Stories @ HGS: Jennifer B

Jennifer is an operations team leader with HGS USA. She has been with us for over 7 years now. She shares with us her experience of working and growing with HGS.

HGS: How has the journey been so far?

Jennifer B: It’s been a great ride. I would like to think a lot has changed over the time I’ve been here. One thing to change specifically is who I am as a person. I started as an agent and moved up over the years from an agent to a trainer, and now, a team leader. I’ve worked with different operations managers, trainers, team leaders, and other departments that each had a hand in helping me develop into a team leader that can be looked up to.

HGS: What about HGS has made you stay?

Jennifer B: Among all the things I’ve experienced at HGS, one program that stands out to me is the ReadyNow program. What I learned about how to communicate with others helped me realize that to be a leader, you have to communicate effectively. The feedback and support have been overwhelming, and made me proud to see the changes I made within myself. Those who knew me six years ago to now will tell you the growth in my communication skills and my leadership skills have improved ten times over.

I want my agents to know I’m here to support them and that together, we will make a great team.

The most important thing to me as a leader is this—I want my agents to know I’m here to support them and that together, we will make a great team. We have an environment at HGS that makes this possible.

At HGS, our way of working stands on the pillars of teamwork and mentorship. We are proud of our employees for enabling our culture of growth and support. Join us.
