Britta is one of our performance coaches in HGS-UK. She has been with us for over three years. Here, she describes her experience of working with us.

How has the journey been so far?

There is plenty to learn here. I started out as a bilingual consumer service advisor and then got promoted to the role of performance coach. Working at HGS has given me the opportunity to gain insight into customer care and management. Additionally, it’s a relaxed environment with great colleagues here.

What inspires you at work every day?

The innumerable opportunities to grow and make a change. HGS gives you the room to explore all your strengths. More than that, it also helps you in your search for excellence. The work is challenging so no two days are the same. Every day is a new chance to be better, so I love coming in to work.

What is something that stands out for you here?

The work environment and the emphasis on balance.

Tell us about your job.

I oversee the quality of calls within the team and train the advisors accordingly. By scoring the quality, I identify the challenges that the advisors face and then, help the group and individuals develop their problem areas. The part I like best is training the team and enabling them to grow.

What are you known for at the office?

For being hands-on, working towards the best results and being friendly.
