Prasanna Kumar is one of our senior trainers in HGS India. He has been with us for over seven years now. He shares with us his experience with HGS.
How has the journey been so far?
I started with HGS as a customer relations officer. Eventually, I got promoted to the role of a quality analyst, and now, I’m working as a senior trainer. I’ve gotten the chance to explore my strengths over time, and it has helped me find new ones through all my roles so far. From what I have observed, everybody here gets a chance to grow into senior positions. I feel that uniformity is unique.
What inspires you every day at work?
Our end goal is centred on providing the customer with optimal service and bettering their experience. That keeps me going every day because there are many ways we can improve customer experience. The environment here is such that you will find plenty of opportunities to grow in your role. There is a lot of positive reinforcement, so that helps us work better.
What do you like best about your job?
Training gives me the platform to convey my learnings from being a CRO to recruits. I enjoy my role in helping them transition from training to the operations floor.
What are you known for at the office?
Professionally, for grooming advisors. Personally, for my attitude, perhaps.
