Job Description:

The Functional Business Consultant acts as a subject matter expert for assigned business systems and processes, ensuring alignment with organizational and client needs. The role provides strategic consultation on business initiatives, regulatory requirements, system enhancements, and process improvements.

The consultant collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to define business requirements, conduct impact analysis, support system implementations, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Responsibilities also include documentation, testing, client interaction, training, and ongoing system support to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in:
    • Business Analysis
    • Project Management
    • Regulatory or Compliance processes
    • Process Improvement
  • At least 3 years of functional experience in one of the following domains:
    • Claims
    • Eligibility
    • Product
    • Benefits
    • Implementations
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
