The Senior Executive – HITL (Human-in-the-Loop) plays a critical role in ensuring responsible and effective use of AI in recruitment by partnering with the AI recruitment assistant . The role combines human judgment, recruitment expertise, and business context to review AI-recommended candidates, make hiring decisions, and continuously improve the system through structured feedback.
The employee will ensure hiring decisions remain accurate, unbiased, compliant, and aligned with business needs, while maintaining defined service level agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities
1. AI-Assisted Hiring Decisions
Review the daily shortlist of candidates recommended by Recruitment engine.
Evaluate candidate profiles using human judgment, recruitment experience, and business context.
Make hire / no-hire decisions within defined SLAs.
Document the decision rationale in the system to maintain transparency and audit readiness.
Ensure consistency in decision-making aligned with organizational hiring standards.
2. AI Feedback and Continuous Improvement
Provide structured feedback to Recruitment engine on rejected or borderline candidates to improve recommendation accuracy.
Partner with Recruitment engine’s Recruitment Decision Platform (RDP) to calibrate hiring criteria and improve AI recommendations.
Ensure all decisions are accompanied by clear feedback entries to support system learning.
3. Bias Monitoring and Compliance
Identify and flag potential bias anomalies or inconsistencies in candidate recommendations.
Escalate flagged cases to the Compliance or Governance team or Manager where required.
Maintain adherence to ethical and compliant hiring practices.
4. Calibration and Quality Assurance
Participate in regular calibration sessions to compare AI recommendations with human decision outcomes.
Provide insights to refine decision thresholds and frameworks.
Work with stakeholders to ensure the AI system aligns with business hiring priorities and workforce strategy.
5. Escalation and Stakeholder Collaboration
Escalate complex or specialized hiring cases to subject matter experts (SMEs) when additional input is required.
Collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, and internal teams to ensure accurate hiring outcomes.
Track and maintain decision turnaround time to meet agreed SLAs.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred).
Experience
1-4 years of recruitment experience, preferably in BPO / BPM / high-volume hiring environments.
Experience in screening candidates, making hiring decisions, and working with recruitment tools/ATS.
Skills and Competencies
Strong recruitment and candidate evaluation skills.
Ability to apply human judgment alongside AI-driven recommendations.
Strong analytical and documentation skills.
Knowledge of diversity and bias considerations in hiring.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in SLA-driven environments.
Preferred Skills
Experience working with AI-enabled recruitment platforms or ATS systems.
Exposure to data dashboards, analytics, or recruitment metrics.
