Meet Recruiter Pallavi

In this series, our recruiters speak about all that it takes to be a part of Team HGS.

HGS: Tell us about your education and experience.
Pallavi: I have an MBA, with specialisation in IT. Overall, I have over 12 years of experience. I’ve been with HGS for nearly three years now.

HGS: What are some must-have qualities you look for in candidates applying to HGS?
Pallavi: Of course, we tend to check for the requirements of the job. But beyond that, general attitude and body language matter as well. Even if candidates have the skills, but not the right attitude, working with the team can become difficult.

HGS: What is a question you never miss asking?
Pallavi: Why do you want to work with HGS?

HGS: What is your pro tip for potential candidates?
Pallavi: Be concise with your answers—no beating around the bush. If you don’t know something in the interview, you should let us know. We ensure that candidates are prepared adequately for ops rounds.

HGS: What do you tell your candidates about the culture at HGS?
Pallavi: People always come first in HGS. The work environment is very employee-friendly, and the general culture is focused on working as a team. Since the work itself is fast-paced and dynamic, the challenges help you become stronger, not just professionally, but also personally.
