Maggie is a project manager with HGS-UK, and she’s been with us for nearly seven months now. She shares with us her experience with HGS.
How has the journey been so far?
I know I’ve been here for less than a year, but it already feels like forever. I have felt so welcomed since day one and have never been made to feel like I was the newcomer.
What about HGS was most appealing to you?
I loved the fact that HGS cares about us as people, and this manifests in many different ways at the office. We are not treated as mere resources; we are valued. Every single one of us is an integral part of the growth and success of the whole company. We are always made aware of this.
In my role as a project manager, I’m surrounded by talented and inspiring people from whom I learn every day. I love the happy faces I see around me, and I wouldn’t trade my team’s daily ‘Good morning’ for anything!
What are your personal development goals in your current position?
As I said, there are a great many opportunities to learn here, if we look for them. I have the chance to meet with some fantastic professionals, and together, we build strategy and plans to hit and break our goals, not only for our teams internally but also, for our clients. I am always looking to hone my existing skill-set and build new ones. I want to continue supporting the teams to shine.
What is the impact of your role?
My job is to drive to success for my team, and our clients. My favourite part is I can make a difference in people’s experience with us as an organisation.
